Great looking force.
ReplyDeleteVery nice, a great cohesive look.
ReplyDeleteDid you come up with this force structure in any specific way or was it based on the minis you had on hand?
As I'm using then as light Power Armor I originally planned out as 2 x 4 man Teams each with a SAW & every other Team with a Weapons Team making up a 10 man squad but due to the Figures I had Available I Modified the TO&E Slightly. I really Hate wasting figure I paid good money for. The New TO&E is 3 Heavy Squads with 1 Fire Support Team of 4 Riflemen & a Heavy Machine Gun Team & 1 Tank Hunter Team of 3 Riflemen, a SAW Gunner & a Portable Missile Launcher Team / 1 Assault Squad with 3 Teams of 2 Riflemen & 2 SAW Gunners / Finally 2 Recon Teams of 4 Riflemen & 1 SAW Gunner. Additionally I play a slightly modified version of Gruntz 1.1 with a minimum Squad size of 4 including 0-2 Squad attachments & Weapons Teams as Specialist units that must be attached to Squads or form Specialist Squads of 2 to 4 weapons.
DeleteNicely done. Your "core" force is larger than any complete army in my entire collection. :)
ReplyDeleteAll my forces are fairly large as I prefer to Create & use full TO&Es in my games. Points are secondary to a good Narrative for each game.
